Bane: The Trilogy

The Warren
Comedy

Part One - Saturday 5 May, 8pm Part Two - Sunday 6 May, 7.30pm Part Three - Sunday 6 May, 9pm
It’s here. Joe Bone brings the hotly anticipated Bane Trilogy to the Brighton Fringe! One-man, no set, no props with a live soundtrack from Ben Roe.
As heard on Claudia Winkleman’s BBC Radio 2 Arts Show and BBC Radio 3’s The Verb with Ian Macmillan. Bane is a multi award-winning one-man comedy with a live guitar soundtrack. A show set on the streets of a nondescript American city, akin to a Raymond Chandler or Dashiell Hammett novel, spliced together with a Quentin Tarantino movie.
“It’s a brilliant hour of comedy theatre” Guardian
“Joe Bones performance is phenomenal... very funny” Time Out
Heavily inspired by film and graphic novels, the performance uses mime, gesture and sound effects to conjure the setting, with multiple character switching to create a filmic tapestry on stage that is funny, engaging and at times moving.
It’s a comic story of revenge with a tough talking anti-hero, Bane, often dispensing a trio of bullets to the chest in search of those that wronged him. Playing with movie conventions and throwing in some dark humour to boot, Bane is the sell out Edinburgh show everyone is talking about.
