Otherplace Productions present their award-winning show (Best Female Performer, Brighton Fringe 2009) about Janis Joplin.

Nicola Haydn switches playfully between the legendary singer's dual personalities. By turns confessional and confrontational, she inventively reveals a life lived behind a mask.

Janis explores the innermost thoughts and frustrations of an iconic singer who was a victim of 60's decadence and self-destructive hedonism.

Nicola Haydn takes the audience on a journey through the ups and downs of Joplin's career and personal life, giving an insight into the woman behind the legend.     next >>
