The Marlborough pub-theatre is in Princes Street, between St.James Street and Edward Street, opposite Brighton Pavilion, and about 200 metres north of the Palace Pier.
If you are coming into Brighton towards the seafront, pass both the large glass-fronted student art galleries, before reaching the double set of traffic lights at Edward Street, where the the road expands into three lanes of traffic (one a filter left in Edward Street itself). Brighton Pavilion will be clearly visible ahead and to the right.
To get to the theatre, go straight ahead at the double set of lights, but immediately afterwards (and before the next set of lights at St. James' Street), turn left into Princes Street. The Marlborough is on the left.
PARKING: There are only 2 voucher-parking spaces immediately outside the pub-theatre, so patrons might find it best to park in the Church Street NCP car park (turn right just before the Edward Street lights, then straight across and slightly up the hill; car park on your left).
BY BUS: you need to get off at either the Old Steine or St.James' Street. |
